This is me ...

My Mum died of cancer when I was nine. I am now thirty something and I still struggle without her. The only way I can describe it is like having 'A Mum Shaped Hole' in my life.

When I started writing my other blog, Are We Nearly There Yet Mummy?, I realised how cathartic blogging was and decided to try and write away some of the pain.

I live in Yorkshire with my husband, two children, my teenage stepdaughter and two dogs.
