As we approach Mother's Day my thoughts are with my Mum. I found this picture last week in a photo album. I pore over photos like this looking at every little detail.

This is me ...
My Mum died of cancer when I was nine. I am now thirty something and I still struggle without her. The only way I can describe it is like having 'A Mum Shaped Hole' in my life.
When I started writing my other blog, Are We Nearly There Yet Mummy?, I realised how cathartic blogging was and decided to try and write away some of the pain.
I live in Yorkshire with my husband, two children, my teenage stepdaughter and two dogs.

ReplyDeleteJust read through your blog crying so much - my Dad died when I was 8 (I'm now 32) and I can relate so much to what you go through. I've never had bereavement counselling & am currently looking into it.
